| The New Surelite™ OPO PLUS–Higher Energy, Greater Versatility |

| Continuum is proud to announce the release of the new Surelite OPO PLUS tunable Optical Parametric Oscillator system. Following in the footsteps of the original Surelite OPO, the Surelite OPO PLUS has been re-engineered to allow higher efficiency from both 355nm and 532nm pumped configurations. The optical cavity is shorter and the crystal is larger to accomodate pumping with the SLI-10, SLI-20, SLII-10 and even the SLIII-10! Tunability from 410-2650nm is achieved with 355nm pumping, while tunability from 680-2550nm is achieved with 532nm pumping. |

| All of the standard options that were previously available with the original Surelite OPO are also available with the new Surelite OPO PLUS. These include the PC control option for automated wavelength tuning (manual tuning via micrometer is standard), the USB converter for use with the PC Control Option, as well as the IRO Option for access to the residual 1064nm pump laser output. The features that made the original Surelite OPO so reliable can also be found on the new Surelite OPO PLUS. These features include a sealed, desiccated oscillator housing to protect the hygroscopic and electrostatic BBO oscillator crystal, a single set of output wavelength separation dichroic mirrors to separate signal from idler, seamless compatibility with the Surelite family of pump lasers including safety interlocks, and single source for both pump laser and OPO. |
